1. How This Site Makes Money

AI For Legal Research is funded in two ways. Most of our income comes from readers who subscribe to our paid plans. We may also earn a commission when a reader follows a link to another company and signs up or buys something. That kind of link is called an affiliate link.

We tell you this because you should know what is behind a recommendation before you act on it.

2. What an Affiliate Link Means for You

• It never costs you more. The price is the same as it would be if you went to the company directly. Where a link carries a reader discount, the price is lower.
• You are never required to use it. You can always search for the company yourself, and nothing on this site is locked behind a link.
• It is always labelled. We mark affiliate links so you can see them before you click.

3. How We Label Them

Affiliate links appear in a bordered box marked Sponsored link, with a line explaining that we may earn a commission. In the page code they carry a rel="sponsored" attribute, which tells search engines the link is commercial. Ordinary links to laws, court records, government pages, and research sources are not affiliate links and earn us nothing.

4. Rules We Follow

• No paid reviews or rankings. No company can pay to appear in our tool reviews, to be rated higher, or to be listed above a competitor.
• Recommendations come first, money second. We only link to something we would suggest to a reader who asked us privately.
• No affiliate links in sensitive articles. Our articles about criminal charges, domestic violence, and the death of a family member carry no commercial links. People reading those pages need help, not an upsell.
• No commission based on the outcome of a legal case. We do not take a share of any settlement, verdict, or legal fee, and we do not sell reader details to lawyers as leads.
• We say when we have not tested something. If a review is based on published information rather than our own use, the review says so.
